Bald Eagle Visits Round Valley Elementary School

On January 12, 2010, at around 12:00 p.m., a bald eagle landed on a branch of a pine tree that is adjacent to the speech building by the primary student's playground. The eagle sat on the branch for about an hour, watching the students, and giving each class a chance to see the eagle for themselves. We, at RVUSD, were grateful for such an amazing visit and thankful for the opportunity to have a bald eagle grace our site.
