Nutritious School Parties and Celebrations
If you would like to bring snacks to school to celebrate a birthday or holiday,
or any other special event, please choose healthful foods with high nutritional
quality. Some suggestions:
String cheese
Cheese and whole wheat crackers
Sliced apples and peanut butter
Carrot sticks
Juice / Juice box packages
Nuts or Raisins
Whole-grain tortilla chips with salsa
Popcorn
Hummus
Granola bars
Low-fat yogurt (low sugar)
Homemade muffins or quick breads
