Peter Bauer

I have lived in Round Valley most of my life. I am a 3rd generation graduate of Round Valley High School, with my father and grandfather both graduating from RVHS. After graduation, I attended Reedley Junior College in Fresno County then transferred to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo to complete my four-year degree in Ag Business with a concentration in Farm and Ranch Management. I now operate a commercial cow calf operation in Round Valley.

When I was in high school, I was an active member of the Covelo FFA. Over the last several years, I recognized that the district's Ag program was in trouble. I thought of all the wonderful things FFA did for me, and the thought of RVHS without a strong Ag program was unacceptable to me. I decided that someone needed to do something to help the Ag program become a strong and positive force in the lives of our students. I figured that somebody could be me. That is why I am on the Round Valley Unified School District Board of Trustees.
