Cameron Switzer

My name is Cameron Switzer and I have taught seventh and eighth grade at Round Valley Elementary/Middle School since 2005. I have taught all of the subjects, but especially enjoy teaching Algebra and U.S. History. I have been one of the Eighth Grade Advisors for the last 5 years and enjoy planning and participating in the graduation festivities as a celebration of all of the hard work our students do to graduate from middle school and move on to high school. Before coming to Round Valley, I went to Humboldt State University for my undergraduate work and also completed the Multiple Subjects Credential Program there. I also have a busy family life since I am the mom to three active boys: Will, Hunter and Collin. I come from a family of teachers and knew at a very early age that teaching was the profession for me. The thing that I love most about teaching is being able to make a positive impact on my students and help them become life-long learners as I strive to be.
