About Human Resources
The Human Resources office oversees recruitment, hiring, employee relations, credentialing, benefits administration, and compliance for Round Valley Unified School District. We support a workforce of teachers, instructional aides, administrators, office staff, custodial and maintenance staff, food service workers, bus drivers, and substitutes serving Round Valley Elementary and Middle School, Round Valley High School, and Yolla Bolly High School.

Teacher Residency Program
Round Valley Unified School District participates in a Teacher Residency Program designed to bring committed new educators into rural California classrooms and to support them through a full year of mentored, in-classroom preparation. Residents are paired with experienced mentor teachers, receive a stipend during the residency year, and are supported as they earn their credential and build the skills needed for long-term success.
For aspiring teachers, the residency offers a financially supported, immersive pathway into the profession. For veteran teachers, serving as a mentor is a paid leadership opportunity that strengthens both the mentor and the field.

In compliance with state and federal law, Round Valley Unified School District provides the following notices:
Nondiscrimination Statement. Round Valley Unified School District does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, ancestry, ethnic group identification, age, religion, marital status, pregnancy, parental status, physical or mental disability, sex, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, gender expression, or genetic information in any of its policies, procedures, or practices.
Title IX. Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex in education programs and activities. Inquiries regarding Title IX may be directed to the District's Title IX Coordinator.

Uniform Complaint Procedures. The District follows Uniform Complaint Procedures for complaints alleging unlawful discrimination, harassment, intimidation, or bullying, and for complaints alleging violations of state or federal law in specified programs.
Williams Complaints. Parents, students, teachers, and community members may file a Williams Uniform Complaint regarding instructional materials, facility conditions, or teacher vacancies and misassignments.
Sexual Harassment Policy. The District prohibits sexual harassment of and by students and employees. Complaints may be filed with the District's Title IX Coordinator or through the Uniform Complaint Procedures.
Annual Notification to Parents. Each fall, the District provides parents and guardians with required annual notifications via mail regarding student rights, programs, and services.
