• Round Valley Unified School District has decided to extend the school closure through Spring Break. If the conditions improve enough for us to go back to school the first day back will be on Monday April 20th. This can be extended if we don't feel it is safe for our students and staff.

Starting tomorrow we will be providing breakfast and lunch from 10-12 in a grab and go format. We will have two lines, next to the Elementary cafeteria, to pass out the food. Simply drive up to a table roll down the window and we will give you two bags, one for breakfast and one for lunch. In order to receive the bags your children who are enrolled in Round Valley Unified School District or Eel River Charter School must be in the car. We will not pass out food to adults only.

I know these are unprecedented times and there are a lot of unknowns right now but the best advice I can give is if you don't need to leave your house don't. If you don't need to travel don't. We need to practice good social distancing so we don't help in the community spread of this virus.

I will keep everyone informed as the information changes. Again Round Valley Unified will be closed until April 20 if there are any questions email me at mgorman@rvusd.us or leave a message at 983-6171 ex 103 messages go strait to my cell and for the people who do have my cell phone number, don't hesitate to call if you want specific information. I have no problem talking to anyone about the issues and facts.

    Stay safe out there.
